History

Fandom was founded in 2002 by Peter Griffin and Jimbo Wales, but it didn't go online until 2004. Then, for a while, everyone had a good time writing erotica. Until 2018. That's when Fandom was taken over by escaped Nazis and the censorship began.

Power

Fandom wasn't always Fandom. It was actually Wikia until 2017. And in a way, it still is. But no time for that now. It conquered Gamepedia, Screen Junkies, and many others I can't remember! It's become so powerful that it threatens all wikis everywhere! Even Wikipedia! It needs to be stopped!

Dictatorial rule

Fandom uses force to get rid of any opposition on its platform, outright banning good people who try to destroy it. It even destroys whole wikis it considers "inappropriate". And the censorship! Good fuck, the censorship! There's a reason Decyclopedia's on Miraheze.

Random rant about censorship

There is way, way, way too much censorship on Fandom. Why can't people describe how Peach-chan and Mario-chan have sex? Who cares about the fucking children!?!? They fucking killed Uncyclopedia!! Opposition

Luckily, there are many wiki farms that challenge Fandom, including Miraheze (the one Decyclopedia is hosted on) and ShoutWiki. They're small, but they're big enough to challenge Fandom. And there are some forks of wikis that Fandom closed for being "inappropriate" on them, too. And the wikis on them are more individual than the ones on Fandom. Unfortunately, Fandom is trying to destroy these, too, with DDoS attacks designed as "power outages." Fortunately, these attacks fail most of the time.

Why Fandom Killed a Reception Wikis
